What does Obamacare offer to newly immigrated parents

I live in California and based on my limited understanding of new healthcare laws kicking in, I believe beginning 2014, we will be able to purchase pretty decent medical insurance for parents from govt regulated exchanges. I looked up 'covered California' website and by using their simple cost calculator, it appears that I can buy insurance for approx $1400 per month for both my 70+ parents. While i agree the tab is high, and maybe unaffordable for many, but it gives a way to purchase medical peace of mind.

I am trying to connect/hear from other like minded people or senior members at Immigration.com if anyone has a different interpretation of Obamacare. So far, this looks very encouraging to me.

$1400/month is way high for any one...I think there are some county sponsored programs available for legal immigrants...not sure if those count against benefits..
