Hello everyone, just seeking some advice or answers. I was selected as a 2016 diversity visa 'winner''. I have been following the visa bulletin and the threshold numbers. To confirm what happens, if the number at the end of my case number is 32002 for example, do I have to wait until the threshold number in the monthly bulletin surpasses my number in order to receive a visa appointment date? An answer back would be much appreciated and curb my anxiety about getting an appointment. Thanks a lot.

Yes, your CN has to be below the listed cut-off number on the VB before you're considered current. If your CN is below the listed VB number and KCC is done processing your DS-260 form (the DS-260 processing completion depends on the form's submission date), you get scheduled for an interview.
