Received BEC 45-day letter on SF DOL cases

Same date, still waiting

Hi, dk_123

My RD is Oct 31, 2003 from CA SFO. I got the new Case number as: P-04321-04XXXX and I am still waiting from my 45 days letter. Do you know which BEC send you the letter? and to who, attorney or employer?

Amending the labor in Backlog Center

Hi,

Thanks for your help on the immigration-portal forum. I have a unique situation with my labor. I filed my labor thru company-A (small start up company) in July 2002 in California. State got approved and it went to San Francisco Regional office in June 2003.

In June 2004, Company-B (its public company) acquired Company-A and Company-B amended my case in Nov'2004 at San Francisco DOL office saying it acquired this startup company would like to continue the labor certification.

Recently Company-A attorney received the 45-day letter Dallas backlog center, and we gave that letter to Company-B attorney to process it.

Company-B managment/attorney signed & sent that 45-day letter and also enclosed a copy of the amendment papers to the Dallas Backlog center with a cover letter saying, this case has been amended in SFO regional office, please amend this case at your office.

Do you think the Dallas Backlog center will get confused with all these? Is it easy to do this amendment along with this 45-day letter.?

Received love letter on valentine day !

Guys !

We received love letter from the BEC on Valentine DaY ! It assigned us a ew number .
Our attorney replied to the lette within a day !

Hope the people ar BEC start certifying real soon ...

Anyone got approvals from BEC ?

Has anyone recd approvals from BEC after the acknowlegment of "45 day letter" by Attorneys.. I read in the forums that PD of the cases would be the criteria for processing these cases at BEC once the attorneys acknowledged... Has anyone recd the approvals that would make the rest of us happy.

Hah!...

Finally after a long waiting, I saw the 45-day letter last 24th.

I have great lawyers, who are taking more than a week to respond 'continue'. Hopefully they respond by this week end.

Hi all,

This will give you and all others in the forum a better idea of how things are going. Just_watching is taking the trouble of updating the tracker almost everyday. By adding your details on to above forum it will be little less effort for Just_watching.

Can somebody please clarify, does the CA SWA and SF DOL, simultaneously sending the cases to Dallas BEC. Or After the SF DOL is done only then CA SWA will start sending the cases.

My case priority date 11/21/01 was remanded back to state and I have no information of when it will be sent to Dallas BEC and also I dont untill what date has CA SWA has completed sending cases to Dallas BEC.

If you folks know any information kindly share with us.

SF DOL is done sending all the regional applications to BEC last year. CA SWA sent all the applications of PD 2003 & earlier by Dec-31st & will send remaining by March end.

My Priority date is 11/20/2001. Does this mean my application would have made it to Dallas BEC. And My lawyer might have received the letter or is there a step like Dallas BEC has to confirm the receipt only then they will mail the 45 day letter.

I am also seeing on some other posts the a Dallas BEC reciept number. How can we get this number.

Also can you please tell what happens next when my employer replies affirmative on the 45 day letter.

Most likely your Case will be in BEC. We have not seen many CA SWA cases receiving 45 day letter yet.. BEC is still busy sending letters to DOL cases. Hang on for some time & you will get yours.
