My labor got approved finally. Here are my details :

RD: June 1, 2003
45-day letter received and replied to in March, 2004

Approved on Jan 13, 2006. Attorney got letter today, Jan 31, 2006.

Do you mean 45 day letter received on March 2005 instead of 2004?

I don't think , anyone had started receiving the 45 day letters in March 2004, so I'm sure he means March 2005.Its a typo

Miami back logged to April 04

California is traveling at the speed of light compared to Miami , does anyone know if Miami transfers case because they are so backlogged , they just got out of 2003 recently our recieved date for I-485 was August 7 2005 and for the I-765 was Jan 9,2006 any replys would be great

Wife came in on I-129F Nov14 2005
we had to wait 170 days to file because of personal reasons

You're in the wrong thread buddy! People here are waiting for Labor Certification approval from PBEC - I-485 does not even come to our dreams yet!!

Received and replied to the 45 day letter in March 2005.

I dont understand how dumb these guy at Philly are. Once the case has been entered in the system and got the reply to the 45 day letters why dont they follow FIFO for atleast those cases. It is frustrating to know that people with PDs in 2003 and 2004 are getting certified from DBEC and already got the I-140s approved.

The california guys with RIR who got transferred to Philly are probably the most unluckiest ones.

PBEC is strictly FIFO?

Just talked with my attorney and she mentioned (second time in last 4 weeks) that she got a call from PBEC for one of her cases and the representative in PBEC mentioned that approvals are strictly based on FIFO and RIR has preference over non RIR.

While looking at number of conversations, I was getting an impression that PBEC is not FIFO but it does not appear to be the case based on what attorney mentioned to me.

Does anybody has any info which invalidates this FIFO theory?

It seems like PBEC is doing most of the cases in FIFO manner ( right now I guess they are working on June/July - 2002 cases for CA ) though I have seen some random approvals for PA, VA for cases dated in 2003
