Hi to all , need to help a brother who was living in a foreign country in Africa with a refugee status bearing his 4th name and under his second nationality but never used that name in his passport and isn't in his birth certificate either. Question is he is very desperate now and fear it to affect his dv application process, he registered edv with his names as birth certificate and passport, he mentioned all in his Ds260 form about his 4th name as other name used and 2nd nationality as other nationality used. Can he be refused visa as committing fraud in the country where he is living currently? Is this situation falling under the crime of moral turpitude ? What your advice to him, abandon the refugee status and go back in his home country to process his dv procedure? Please help it's really a serious matter to take a decision as soon as possible. Doesn't look like a problem to me. He uses a 4th name in his 'new country' (where he's staying as a refugee), and he's listed that name under the other names used section of the DS-260 form, he should be fine. The name doesn't need to exist on his B/C or passport.
 
Thanks a lot Sm1smom, i believe he will be fine has he didn't hide anything he mentioned all in his Ds260 form, and lucky the situation doesn't fall also on the crime of moral turpitude .
