DOL processing

Checking random numbers again, it appears that several cases in the 05400XXX range have been approved- some from late August and some from September! This time I do not see serial/batch approvals. DOT codes are also varied. Let\'s keep tracking.

Updates and more!

Dearest patients friends,

I\'m sorry that I\'ve been missing from this forum for quite sometime as I was busy with other things.

I\'ve change my reporting format a bit due to poplular demand. I\'m now including the DOT code. Hence, for others who are posting please do so and I can pick up from where you left behind. Here are some updates :-

DOT Case # RD AD
030.062.010 53991XX 7/26/01 11/7/01
009.061.038 53992XX 7/30/01 8/28/01
091.227.010 53991XX 7/30/01 11/13/01
809.130.014 53992XX 7/30/01 11/7/01
030.162.014 53992XX 7/30/01 11/7/01
030.162.014 53993XX 7/31/01 11/14/01
007.061.014 53994XX 8/1/01 10/22/01
030.062.010 53994XX 8/2/01 N/A

My assumption is that for IT cases (like mine), with RD of 8/2/01 are being process. My RD is 8/10/01 I don\'t expect an approval until 1st or 2nd week in December. Insider told me there are few staff on vacation and things will be slower. I do not expect to receive my hardcopy until probably end of January.

Cheers.

TungFong..is it only after receiving hardcopy

we can file for I-140. What is the current time to get hardcopy....

Yes, You need a hardcopy to file I-140 with INS. Currently it appears to be taking 3-5 weeks for hardcopy after approval.

Any NOFs?

Has anyone received NOFs or denials? I know it is hard to discuss this and we all hope things go smoothly with our applications, but there are NOFs being issued and some case numbers that refer to an older case number when queried on the AVM (random sampling, ofcourse). There are also messages where cases have been remanded back to state or the employer. If we collect more info, maybe it could be of use to some of us. Please share information about the reason for NOF, the rebuttal and the end result. Thanks.

DOL is Processing 053993XX

It seems the DOL was processing on the 11/14 mid-053993XX (cases with RD arround 8/01). Maybe several cases in 05400XXX range have been processed but I don\'t think the DOL has been that far.

Hard Copy Delays - Idea!

Maybe we can start the preparation of documents once we know that Labor has
been approved. That way, when the document reaches us; we can file immediately.

My company is known to otherwise take a couple of months in just preparing
the documents!

That\'s True !

I have already asked my lawyer to get all the documents ready.I am waiting for hardcopy with RD of 10/22.
Guys, if anyone of you recently got the hardcopy, pls post b\'cos it help others.

Cheers !!

When does info come into automated system?

Hi gurus,

My filing date for IL-SESA was 05/01/2001 (May). Since I\'m not able to get any info from my lawyer, I\'m trying to use the e-mail system to get my case #, etc.

To date the automated system has not been updated with my info. Since my friends with 05/15 filing date have their case numbers and PDs, I am worried that my case might still be stuck in IL-SESA.

Is this possible? ... how do I find out more?

Check with your employer if there is an RFE from SESA. If you have a friendly supervisor/Boss, you can have him call SESA to find out the status. SESA won\'t talk to you. Only other answer is to wait till you hear something from the lawyer or on the DOL AVM. Goodluck.

Hi Pulo,
These approvals were from late September!
0540008X AD 9/19
0540008X AD 9/24
0540007X,7X,7X AD 9/19.
They were all recd on 8/22/01.
I wonder if they were limited review cases. In any case, DOL has been looking at cases in this range. I am also aware that there are cases in the 05399XXX range that are getting approved in bunches. I think part of this might be dependent on the analysts allocated to the cases and probably DOT codes. Comments welcome.

to obtain DOL case number

Send an email query to DOL using your employer\'s phone number or tax ID. The response from DOL will include status report on all the cases from your employer currently at DOL. In each status report, there will be a job description/DOT code and the exact salary offered. Identify your job and the DOL case number! To send the email query, use directions from the previous thread-URL posted in my earlier message.

As for your other question, PD is priority date or date case received by SESA; RD is Receipt date-or date case was received by DOL; AD is date of approval. Use these abbreviations to read above postings.
