I found one person under trackitt.com who mailed I-485 (EB2 - India) on July 13, 2007 to TSC and USCIS receipted it on July 17, 2007 with a ND of July 18, 2007.

Filed on July 27th, 2007.

EB2 submitting with PD Sept 2006 (PERM). Recently also got BEC TR-RIR case with PD May 2003 Certified. Will substitute pending 485 with older priority date after I get that I-140 approved.
 
Please Advice

I am living in US sine last 5-6 years.I have moved(residence change) couple of times since then.


To keep the USCIS updated with my new address I always filed AR-11 form.But I was not aware what should be filled in the "Alien Number" filed and so I would leave it blank.



My question is will this affect my 485 which I have filed in July,2007.

What can the consequences be?


Please Advice.
 
Called for Update!

I called to National Service Center for an update/status of my application. The lady said they are sending receipt notice to everyone from July 20th, 2007.

wow !!! So pretty much everybody who have sent in their application in first week of July might have received the notice by this time(atleast some of them). If so can those people please let the forum know about the notice.

We filed last week July 25th. Nothing yet of course.

But will keep this post updated - hope other July-Aug filers will too. Be interesting to see when receipts are sent out. I read somewhere that receipts from NCS should be sent out by August 1st for people who filed July 20th & before. Not sure if this is correct.

We filed July 23rd at Nebraska. EB-3 ROW
Got the receipt from lawyer today. Receipt date is July 24th & Notice date is August 27th.

Checked online and got LUD's on all application day after Notice date.

Hoping to get EAD cards soon. Read that some July filers have received EADs without any LUDS or any email notification.

Any other July filers?
 
A lot of you guys who posted here - 2007, toledo (?) & others should have all received your receipt notices by now. You filed before me & I got mine.

Pls update guys!

I-485 update filed 07/18/07

Filed I-485 on July 18, 2007. Received receipt notice dated August 16, 2007. Received appointment notice for fingerprinting dated August 30, 2007. Biometric appointment with code 3 (10 finger prints, signature, photograph) on 09/18/2007. I also see the alien registration number (A#) is also given in the finger printing appointment notice.
 
LUD = "Last Update" to your file. It just means the Immigration Officer has worked on your file. It hardly has any importance. Lot of people mention LUDs on their file, but it has no relation to approval or disapproval of a file.
