knowDOL is absolutely right. I had just confirmed with my company attorney firm.
In the middle of 2006, the USCIS started a transition towards "bi-specialization" -- a workload reorganization program that centralizes adjudications at USCIS Service Centers by application or petition type...
good news
I'm not speclulating this but again this is not my statement or opinion.
My lawfirm ( this is one of the biggest law firm in the US...) just confirmed that if FP results are received clean then it implies the name check is also complete.
dude,
you sound tired and frustrated. I would say, take it easy and think more before using any of these legal clauses like AC21 etc. Use it if you do not have any other options else, suck it up for some more time. Trust me it will be all fine. Companies are here to do business, so its...
I am hearing a lot of speculation with regard to some folks viewing namechecks orthogonal to fingerprint check, while the other group thinks that both these processes are overlapping in nature and FP triggers the name check.
Looking for a more concrete fact and not opinions. If someone knows...
What is the next step after fingerprint review results have been received and..
Greetings Everyone,
What is the next step after the finger print reports come out clean ? The AOS status shows:
On date XX the results of your fingerprint review for your I485...
Greetings Everyone,
I need your kind advice. Please read below.
One of my friend recently got laid off from his company. Though his I-140 EB2 has been already approved without any RFE, but as of the day of layoff, his I-485 has been in pending state for 75 days...
All,
If you have the time, Kindly help me with some advice.
Currently, I'm in pending AOS state, with I-140 approved, and have my EAD and AP documents.
However I have not got my passport stamped with my renewed HI-B visa.
If I have to travel to India via UK ( only transit not for...
.
So instead of using H1-B , I can use the AP for re-entering US. Got it.
Is it risky to apply for a H1-B Visa renewal, considering my I-140 immigrant visa is approved and I'm in pending AOS state with EAD and AP ? Is it (i.e. renewal) something that one in my shoes would go for ?
Hi All,
I haven't travelled outside the US since I got my H1-B Non-immigrant VISA renewal for the second ( 3 yr ) term. I have just put the new I-94 in the passport from the renewal document.
In the meantime, I have my I-140 approved, have a EAD card and AP.
Now ifI have to travel...
Most good engineers who come here do not, do their masters in India, as they can get a job without the masters. The set of engineers who do their masters in india do that because they don't get a job otherwise..so you know what type of engineering they have done. The other kind of people who...
My friend, you must have patience. So what if you cannot track it. Knowing the receipt will not accelerate the adjudication. I was exactly in your shoes , so I can understand what you are going through. But have faith and patience. My I-140 got approved in 48 days and I did not have the receipt...
Unfortunately, it will not work. I-140 is employer specific, the petitioner is your employer and you are the beneficiary, hence they cannot divulge the I-140 receipt number to you.
His case was semi concurrent. That is though I-140 and I-485 was not filed on the same time, however I-485 was filed before I-140 was adjudicated.
His I-485 was filed on Nov 28, 2004.
Hi ,
One of my friend got his I-140 approved today. It was filed on a substituted Labor , under EB2 Category with ND 05/28/04. The case got Approved on 11/30/04.
Hope this information helps all those who are waiting.
If you have already filed I-485, then you don't have to worry about priority date retrogression. Priority Date retrogression, is something that folks who have not filed their I-485 should worry about...hope that makes you feel better..
These days CSC is adjudicating concurrent filed cases at the same time, (I'm not sure if it has to be the same place as well). So most likely your case would be handled in the same way.
I do not want to speculate anything, so I would advice you to speak to your attorney or whosoever is...
