You are eligible to apply 484 , My case also is similer, My 140 is pending security clearence . My lawyer suggested me to apply 485 as the dates are current. But to be on safe side I will continue on H1 even if I get EAD.

Security Check may take anywhere between few months to few years.. we cannot predict when it will be done. I am not sure what they are going to check.. but my I140 also is under security check but I am getting my 485 filed, according to our lawyer, I am also eligible to get the EAD even my I140...

Ead I dont think that 140 should be approved to get EAD. According to our lawyer, even though the i140 is pending , I am eligible to get the EAD and AP. if anyone knows, please let us know.
