The question for those who had to do biometrics in Charlotte, NC.
How long does it take from your I-485 approval date until you get a biometrics letter to complete them in Charlotte's office?

Like many of you guys, I have received my approval letter that says that the card will be mailed within 120 days. No word about passport stamping.
My FP was done a year ago - regular ink-and-paper-10-fingers. All the photos I have ever submitted were side-facing (except the ones I submitted...
Guys,
If you have had an experience with infopass in Charlotte, NC can you tell me whether they will allow the applicant and the spouse together on ONE infopass appointment?
Thanks
Checked online status twice today.
The second visit was very pleaseing - both spouse and self got approved yesterday. :D (approximately 40 days after USCIS got RFE response)
Guys,
I've got tired of waiting for approval after NSC received my RFE response almost a month ago.
So, I am trying to figure out whether the processing time of RFE depends on the type of issued RFE.
My RFE was for illegible copy of BC.
So, if any of you received the same type of RFE and you...
Does anyone hve an experiance of filing for another EAD (third already) after they responded to RFE and NSC got it?
My LUD stopped changing two weeks ago (3 days after they received RFE response).
Will filing of I-765 trigger an approval of I-485?
Any thoughts?

Tried to follow the steps found on the tread to find exact status after receipt more than two weeks ago, but they refused to give me the status, arguing that they can give info only regarding approved cases.
Did you say that your...

Guess what, my case was approved 2 days after I...
Does anyone know how they process RFEs for BC?
In my case they requested a legible copy of my original BC in foreign language.
Will they forward it to an officer that knows that language?
How they define what language it is in?
My country of citizenship is Israel, the BC is in Russian...
Felt very excited when received RFE, answered it and a couple of weeks later received email from NSC that they got it.
After that LUD was changing for a couple of days (see my signature) in a row and then it stopped on 03/31 and died. :(
Any way to check what happens there?
NSC received my I-485 RFE response on 03/28 and updated the LUD and the status accordingly.
On 03/29 the LUD changed again (no status change though).
What actually happens at this stage? Does this LUD change means that they are working on my case, or simply means that they've moved my file...
I just wonder whether anyone has statistics how many I-485s get approved w/o RFEs vs. the ones w/RFE?
Also, what is the average time it takes NSC to approve the case after they get RFE answered?
Gurus, please share your ideas.
I am about to travel to Canada. :)
The only document that shows my eligibility for admission to the US is my I-131 (I-485 pending  , sept.03). Should I expect any unpleasant surprises when crossing US-Canada border or the Canucks are pretty familiar with this situation?
Please advise.
Hi,
The INS physician wrote a wrong country of birth on my I-693 (my citizenship country and the country of birth are not the same).
Could it be a problem?
Thanks
Hi all,
I have already asked people on a different threads about how to get a 485 receipt#.
Here is my story. A company filed a GC for me on Aug. 2003. I did not pay a penny yet :) , so I can't take a receipt# from a cancelled check  . The company says that it won't give me a...
