The approval letter said its going to take upto 12 months I got mine in 2 weeks... was approved on 9/5/03 got the Plastic on 9/22/03 you'll receive a welcome notice 3 weeks before you get the plastic. -junior

Congrats! Don't worry about the online status... I got approval letter 2 weeks ago and got my physical card (both me & wife) yesterday 9/22/03.. but the online status said until 2 days ago that my case will take 999 days to adjudicate... now it says my case is missing... -junior

I too submitted 3 paystubs. 1 was from old employer and 2 were from current employer. It never seemed like a problem to me 'cos my lawyer always downplayed the salalry issue.. infact he said I don't even have to have a job at the time of RFE. all I need is a job at time of interview...

Gopal, I don't think it should be a problem, I was in the same boat as you are now (8 months ago) I took a 20% pay cut when I switched my job. I got an RFE. I replied them with my current salalry (at the time). My lawyer says pay is not a problem as long as you are in the same or similar...

Yeah! I did my EAD and otherstuff too.. but the general idea is that they tend to be more accomodating when you are there with your lawyer. BTW, you have to sign something that says you are voluntarily giving up the option the option of having your lawyer present. Luckily for me the DAO...
