Thanks.. Thanks Rahul, That was very informative. Is there any downside of doing DCF? Only thing that I can think of is that if Delhi Embassy refuses to do DCF then you are stuck with the long spousal visa process and can't do fiancee visa. Any thing else? thanks again, Sanjay

Thanks.. Looks like Citizen parent has to be physically present for 5 years in US for child to become US Citizen. Would someone know if these 5 years have to be after Citizen parent become US Citizen or PR time can also be counted towards it? Thanks again.

Thought I will update this. I asked around a lot. Looks like a valid passport is not really a must but you do need a passport. I can never be sure, that seems to be the majority opinion. Thanks all for posting your opinions.

Thanks everyone for the information. In NJ they do charge $4 to get certified disposition of ticket. I sent the court where I got the ticket a check and hopefully will get it soon. thanks again
