    September interview (newark)- Marriage based-HELP!!!

If you included copies of those items in your N400 packet, then bring the originals. Bring whatever you can imagine the IO might ask for. There's never any harm in that, except the inconvenience of carrying a big and bulky bag. Just make sure that it's well-organized so you can find whatever...

CA state transcripts cost $20 per transcript

I don't think they need State Tax Transcripts. Don't waste your money. I didn't even include any State Tax Return copy in my application. I did include copies and brought original Federal Tax Transcripts but the IO did not ask for it. Good luck!

N400 mistake.... What will happen now

I made several mistakes on the dates in my N400 and didn't realize it until my interview this morning. The IO was confirming the information in my N400 and I have the wrong years in my last trip and my first employment. No biggie. He just crossed out the wrong years and wrote the correct...

Los Angeles, CA - N-400 Timeline

Do they have different set or levels of IOs for naturalization interviews and GC interviews? Are the waiting areas separate? Our GC interview was held in a booth instead of a room or cubicle. My family and the IO remained standing the entire time. Does this mean that the IO was a lower...

    Citizenship for Minor Child

sooo sorry about that. I meant the family have been permanent residents for more than 5 years. The older children are already citizens. The parents are not eligible to apply for citizenship because they went back to their country of origin. The youngest child is 15 yrs old but she wants...

    Citizenship for Minor Child

The parents cannot file for citizenship yet because they have been out of the country most of the time, and may not even keep the green card at all. The child has been living in the US with her older siblings and wants to stay in the US. The siblings were able to file for citizenship because...
