I need a sample of I-485 filed recently for a parent of a US citizen. I'm trying to file it for my mom who is currently here in the US in a B1/B2 visa. Her I-130 is approved. Please let me know if you have one or have a link.

One more question. What would be my 'Copy Number From Alien Card' in the form AR-11? Is it a number on my Green Card or a number from my I-94? Also, do I need that I-94 or I can throw it away?

This is done already! And fortunately we don't have pending cases anymore. The life is much more relaxed now when we are perm. residents :D

No interview. When I submitted the documents I sent only my tax return for 2004 and also an employment letter with salary.

I recommend you to request a Letter of employment from your Human Resources right now. Send this letter to USCIS so that they won't request it from you in the RFE. Also request an additional letter a day or two before you are actually layed off. This worked for my case.

Now I can say that it was not a welcome to hell of next round of processing not, but a very good sign meaning next day approval. However, my wife was indeed approved ahead of me, and she has already received her plastic card dated March 30.
