Did anyone recently had any luck on expediting the AP/EAD processing for emergency travel reasons? and how long it will take? You could send a fax to USCIS service center where your case is pending explaining you situation with supporting documents. this has worked for several ppl.

Guys, Here is what i think about EAD. for primary 1) if your I-485 is pending then your status is AOS(Adjustment of status) as long GC is not approved. 2) if keep your H1B alive you do not need EAD or AP . 3) if you do not have H1B alive you must apply for EAD which is like a work...

my hard earned 2 cent will be people @ USCIS hardly work.... i couldn't agree more with gc_retrogress what matters is approval nothing else...

She could continue working even without recieving EAD approval but that will be considered as illigal employment as per my understanding through different uscis documents. as long as illigal work days is not more than 180 days they should not have issue @ the time of I-485 approval. but...

blues22, i am working on EAD...i guess you are right because when i spoke to my HR they say you are good as long as application is not denied...

Hi, I have applied to renew my EAD on May 30th, still waiting for approval. My current EAD will expire on August 8th, what will happen if i did not receive approval before August 8th. I am working with same employer who sponsored my GC.

Guys: I have e-filed our 6th EAD renewal do i have to send Photos with supporting document as confirmation reciept says DO NOT SEND photos.. but i did sent it last time Please share your thought....
