Kairinyc, You do not need to send a copy of your passport. A copy of your Nat. Cert. is enough. It seems like you have everything in order and should not be a problem.

I strongly encourage you to call the USCIS Customer Service. The I-797C Notice of Action (Acceptance) should have been in your mail 7 days after it was sent. According your data, the notice of acceptance should received no later than December 31th,2012.
