H1b restamping for valid visa till 2008

Nope... Your H1-B Visa stamp on your passport is valid till the expiry date (Though the visa stamp has your ex-emplyer name, it is still valid till expiry). You do not need a new stamp until the visa expiry date or if your status changes to a different visa category. You will need to hand the...

WOW ! What do I need to do !

My guess is they probably picked up your app along with theirs and stuffed it in their envelope. Don't think you could miss anything in a N-400 app if your case is a straight forward one. All you need to send is copy of GC, check (for the right amount ofcourse) and photos. That's it.

HELP ! lost my GC week b4 my oath

Make an infopass appt and go to the DO and talk to them. They would suggest you the right thing to do. If you do not have the time, just go to the Oath ceremony with a copy of your GC and many more identifications and explain it to the people there. You should be OK.

WOW ! What do I need to do !

LOL...Typical USCIS screwup... Be glad that you did not loose too much time. Just send your application back to them. I don't think you would benefit in anyway by calling them except for wasting time, money and energy.

    N400 Timeline: Houston, TEXAS

Nope. Make sure you are back before Oath. Mention the travel dates on the back of the Oath letter you receive. Have a nice trip.

    N400 Timeline: Houston, TEXAS

Remember the famous words..."Ask not what your country can do for your country but what you can do for your country"... USCIS follows that to the bone...and they even modify it to ..."but what more can you do for your country"...

    N400 Timeline: Houston, TEXAS

I agree with sy2006. Two years ago (applied few months past the 5 year anniversary date) my process took only 130 odd days from application to Oath in Houston. Looks like the length of time taking to process is only getting better day by day. In my opinion, applicants from Houston area should...

C R S is correct. Please see below for the actual text from the Guide to Naturalization - Bottom of Page 22... If you are applying based on 5 years as a Permanent Resident or 3 years as a Permanent Resident married to a U.S. citizen, you may file for naturalization up to 90 days before you...

H4 Visa holder working for a foreign company

Your better bet is to get legal advice from couple of good immigration attorneys. I beleive once you are in the US on H-4 you are not allowed to work and make money even though it is remote work for a company in a foreign country. On the other hand if you are working and getting paid to a...

    US citizenship

Let me reiterate... You got married to a GC holder in July 01, 2004. You got your employment based GC in July of 2005. You GC spouse became a US Citizen after five years on GC on August 01, 2005. You can send in your Natz application only after August 01, 2008 minus 90 physical days counting...

    US citizenship

Wrong...You will be eligible to become US citizen in 3 years from the date your spouse became US citizen. Does not matter how you got your green card if you are married to a Citizen. You can apply in 3 years minus 90 days. If your spouse became citizen on August 01, 2005, you will be eligible...
