We filed the I-130 in November 2017 and I-485 in March 2018. Will the FO (Newark, NJ in her case) consider the Nov 17 date or Mar 18 date for AOS?

I guess we will receive an intimation whereby she will be asked to submit medical exam results. How long does that take for parents?

I filed i-130 for my mother and didn't file the i-485 simultaneously. Can I file it when I get a receipt of the i-130? What are the pros and cons of filing it now or later? BTW my mother is here in US with me and she is in her 80's. She is here because she has no one in India to look after her

No Title I believe they want to see it in the passport.

I did travel did travel thru paris and had a valid US visa(H1B & AP). They checked that on passport (i.e. H1B) The rules have changed since May 3rd 2002. Visited French Embassy in NY and they said the same (went as, like you, heard conflicting reports). Hope this helps
