I just noticed that they still have the appointment option on InfoPass that says "INTERIM EAD". Just wondering if anyone used this type of appointment recently and what was the result. Thank you for help. :confused:
Does anyone know how to obtain an interim EAD from local district office, if your EAD application is pending for 90 days? And how long it takes to arrive in mail or they issue it right there?

Even it is signed into law by President. Do CIS/DoS have to wait until it gets published in the Federal Register, before executing ? If yes, how long it takes to get there?

I disagree ... my understanding is that the green card labor is for future employment, so current job/salary with the employer may not be similar. So I think the employer is right, if on EAD they are not obliged by the GC LC yet.
Wife can also apply for EAD and work whereever she wants...
