are Naturalization Certificates numbered consecutively?
my certificate, received last month, has a 8-digit number, 31XXXXXX.
my friend's certificate, issued in 2000, have a 30XXXXXX.........
after a quick search on Google, I noticed the certificates issued as early as
1960 only have 7-digit numbers.
does this mean that, as of this year, only 31 million people have ever been
naturalized in the United States of America in the last couple hundred years?
(or since they started issuing naturalization certificates) :confused
