Hey Guys,

I had been a regular visitor of this forum..... The opinion i am trying to get is about AOS through Marriage. I know this guy who works at a convenient store came to USA like 5 years on a visit visa after that he never left. In the mean time he found a local women who is like 15 years older than him, well they both are living together for the past 2 years and got married like last year in the court. There is a difference in the AGE, ETHNICTY,RELIGION AND LANGUAGE.
They hired a lawyer which told them that there case is straight forward. The guy is working illegally and the woman is deeply in love with the guy... i dont know the guys is real with the woman or not? so with all these differences is it still possible to adjust status ????

It's not impossible for him to adjust status, but he can surely expect difficulties. The outcome will depend on the facts, how well they document and present the facts, and the subjective impressions formed by the interviewer and supervisor.
 
Anything is possible nowadays age difference.catholic/muslim,black/white,green skin/ brown skin etc... the issue you will face is can you prove it is a legitimate marriage . If it is a real marriage comprised of odd pairings then it should be fine .Even though you may get questioned more about certain circumstances there is no barrriers in place that state x can not be joined with y .
 
Some should know that this is US of America, ...There is no discrimination cause of AGE , FAITH, LOOKS , LANGUAGE ,INTELIGENTCE cause you dont know how to SPELL ore what ever...I am older than my wife 22 years, and passed my STOKES interview in 15 minutes. Married for 5 years and have beautiful daughter.. and whoo are you to think like that ?? how did you get those ideas , caose she is different age , religion, language this is US America not bum fu** some of you lived ( NO DISRESPECT). When in Rome do........... Problem is You need to talk to a good lawyer cause you overstayed your visa and you probably will have to get through Stokes interview. Aplay for EDA so you can work ligaly and dont be scared you are already in Immigration system.
Always ask second lawyers opinion Most attorneys care for money , dont go in Stokes interview without lawyer. and stay cool.Dont worry.:cool:

Hey Bassman,

It seems like you are older but still immature...... saying that if you read my thread carefully i have nothing against this guy who i wrote about. I had been a member of this forum for last 3 years have read so many stories about racism and to your knowledge they do discreminate (USCIS). Its not about fake or real marriage you even said that you end up in stokes interview as well but to your knowledge each and every person is not legit. Why do you think they put conditional green card on the new marriages ?????? Thats the reason people just fly to USA on a visit visa and overstay and then marry a girl and get a green card.
jackolantern the GURU of this forum also thinks that its gonna be hard for him to prove you unless you have paperwork and get organized.
Bassman seems like you took it personal man but nothing against you but to be honest with when you marry someone outside from your culture you will face problems. Do me a favor just read january 2010 fancy girl interview experience and you will know what i am talking about

Yes I read it and she got GC ......It just happen IO had bad night or was hungover. It hapen dont be so sensitive.I know many worst storys in interviews. As I stated before IO's are well trained....everywer in wide world is expression "Love conquers all" .........Adopt American life and dont be scared cause you look differently dont fell bad, get with American programm of life. :cool:
 
I married one that is very beautiful, different language religion, country, tradition, 22 years younger ....I am in Immigration procedings 23 years , not couse of me cause I am white smart and beautifull but cause I had bad lawyer and IJ in political asylum kicked us out of court after 10 mins thats why ...I was dumb cheap did not wanted to spend money in top noch lawyer.
Thats absolutely right they look in that Racial profiling, difference cause that said something ,but not necesery, and eastern peeps are known they would not marrie somone out of there beliefs (faith , language etcr)for love so thats first flag to IO . Just like is known a one rich man would not marrie some girl that have no money never had job , dont even look good, have dirt under her finger nails , not such a good skin ...this are all signs that send red flags to IO.....So you think bout this .!
.Its could profiling not judging. Thats his job and he is alought to do put you through many things. Many man/woman some time cant handel and tell truth . All kinds of peoples in USA have problems , many whites same are in pwerty and are poor.You got GC enjoy it forget what you are you should be American.enjoy your GC . :):cool:
