I did receive a RFE for the birth certificate. I had submitted a birth certificate, though the original one what i submitted does not have any regular goverment letterhead or logo. Its just on a piece of paper, with all the details, and a stamp by some officer.

Now, INS has sent me a RFE asking me to produce the birth certificate from the proper authority or official goverment letterhead. Is it okay for me to submit affidavits from my parents on goverment stamp paper, or do i still need these ?

Anyone in this type of situation. The clock is ticking, and i need this to be sent asap. Your help is required.
 
One with a letter and without letter head but some kind of stamp should be

fine. so you will need from local official on a letterhead.
 
BIRTH CERTIFICATE

What you need to do is to get 3 affidavit from India from your parents and a close relative. it needs to explain your time, place and date of birth and their relationship with you

The format of affidavit

In yor case, you have a birth certificate, but if you get an
affidavit, I dont know what you should say exactly. The previous reply
told
that get an affidavit from 3 relatives. So can anyone explain
this question . If he has valid birth certificate, should the affidavit
say that the format is incorrect and hence the affidavit.

Generally people get affidavit when they DO NOT have affidavits
so that affidavit will state affidavit is because of no birth ceritificate.

I have a situation like this, but in my case I have a valid
birth certificate but my name and parents name are incomplete.
Only has first names. I filed the 485 but my lawyer
asked me to get affidavits in case of a RFE. I am still waiting on
how I should word the affidavit.I dont know if there
is a sample letter in immihelp.com
