Your case is currently undergoing the increased security checks

My 485 was filed on 8/2003, I made enquiry based on current processing date 11/2003. Yesterday received response form NSC as "Your case is currently undergoing the increased security checks the U.S. Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration services has mandated for all cased filed at the Nebraska Service Center".

Is this due FBI Name check or something else. Please share your experience and thoughts.

Exactly the same here. Check my signature. Just got written response from USCIS today, "..undergoing increased security check...". NOW WHAT?
 
I just sent email to FBI to check the status of my name check, you can tell from the forum I won't be able to get response until another 5 to 6 months. Security check, name check, what else? I was just wondering for people who have passed the time frame what other responses they got so far from USCIS other than " increased security check". Any thoughts?
