Hello,
I am currently working at an insurance company. They have processed my H1B and have also started the Green Card Process. Unfortunately they got back to me letting me know that they cannot proceed ahead because they were unable to reject other qualified candidates for my current job description.
The exact message is pasted below,
"After completing the recruiting process for the Labor Certification process to obtain a Green Card/Permanent Residence, we found qualified U.S. candidate(s) we were unable to reject due to the candidate(s) meeting the defined qualifications of the position. Unfortunately, at this time we are legally unable to proceed with pursuing a Green Card/Permanent Residency for you."
My company doesn't have much experience with regard to Green Card Processing and I have an appointment coming up with HR soon to discuss my options.
Please let me know what my options are and is there anything I can do to find a way out.
