but don't you smell sth. recently from the speed of the processing.

Since the Sept./Oct. is so close to be processed, but still have to wait 6-8 months(a month ago, an IIO told me is 2-6 months), can you imagine the nightmare of after 8/1/2002 (the date of 140/485 joint start) filers going to suffer? maybe 6-8 years?

Hope we can see a flood of aprovals from today.

kia - I dont think there is much we can do ...but wait patiently !!

First off, I never believe the numbers the IIO's give as they never make sense and neither are they consistent with the numbers the next IIO may give.

Even if the IIO's prediction were to be true and if Sept-Oct cases were to take 6-8 months to approve, what the hell are you gonna do ? Leave alone 6-8 months, if INS stops processing 485 cases for two years, is there anything you can do to stop them from doing that ?As a applicant of 485 there is nothing but wait patiently for your turn to come. "Patience" seems to the keyword and "wait" the only possible thing that you can do.

Welcome to the reality dude!! As much as Americans sing songs about "equal rights ", it is apparently not true for immigrants.
