Yikes!!

thanks vault

for posting such a nice link, it actually clears up a lotta dust around this halt. It's the people at the top and Americans in general who have gotten extermely jittery and looking for sacrifical lambs on a slightest opportunity, and we get all the shit being at the receiving end. The people who have been approved must consider themselves lucky, it's not going to be an easy affair henceforth.

I particularly like the way he ends up his write up.Here it is..

" We don't know anything about this particular investigation ,but I suspect that we have another group of employees who may have goofed a little but who are being held to the highest standards as sacrificial post-September-11 lambs. I feel for them and their families, because, as Yogi Berra said, "It feels like deja vu all over again"...

I dont blame them

I dont blame the INS officers for being reluctant and being over-cautious in processing our applications.

If they screw up their jobs, livelihood is on the line.

No wonder everything is come to a grinding halt since the last two weeks.

Our wait has once again increased!!!

great info

Thanks for posting the link. Could it be one of the reason why we are not seeing approval for the last 3 weeks? If it is, we wont be seeing approvals in Jan,2003 also.........till they finish their investigation.
