yellow letter

Hi all!
I already have my interview letter but have never received yellow letter.
Is it normal to receive yellow letter after the interview date letter???
I have been outside the USA 5 times for 5.5 months,which is reason for aditional documents maybe???
What do you think?

Not everyone gets YL.
You were outside US for 5 times for 5.5 months each, or a total of 5.5 months?
I did not understand the question about "additional documentation" - if you did not get YL, what additional documentation did they ask?
