Just now I got email saying my case has been approved.

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On June 22, 2007, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

During 2004 my case was current . Raised SR I got reply that my case was stuck in name check.

waited for date to become current. Called again NSC got reply that case is stuck in name check.

Initiated service request, and got letter saying Visa numbers are not available.

contacted senator's office . They didn't do much.

wrote letter to first lady and was waiting to get any reply from them.

Contacted another senator and they were working and asked to check back on 28th.

In between I called NSC atleast twice a day. got different answer everytime.

yesterday I got response to wait for 90 - 120 days. Its in area where officer needs to reviews the case.

I was getting frustrated everyday when everyone were getting approved and I was not getting approved.

Guys whoever is still waiting keep calling and don't loose hope/heart. NSC officers will give you whatever reason they want to give. Everything about name check / security check pending is all BS. They are approving cases so your number will come. I know its really frustrating, but keep calling and be on top of NSC officers.

I waited 7 years for this day to come.

I did 3 - 4 FPs 4 EAD/2 AP. I was going to apply fifth EAD but then i decided to wait for 1st july.

Did you receive just this email or an email before that saying that ".
Notice was mailed welcoming the Permanent resident".
 
I edited my first post. Please take a look.

I wrote to First lady and contacted local senator, there was no response from senator's office . From this forum, i came to know that it takes almost 2 months to get reply from FBI after you write to first lady.

However all this information from NSC is useless, you can't really take whatever reason they give for your name check. I even took infopass and they told me that my name check is pending. After 25 daysi took infopass appointment again and got answer that its under review. Officer was kinda rude, she said thats all info i can give.

I wrote email to ombudsman's officer couple of weeks back. I got generic email from them , asking me to submit case details. I did that yesterday.

I kept on calling USCIS and they gave me same answer wait 90 - 120 days. I asked about name check they said if your case is in que then your name check is complete.

If your case is stuck in name check, write to first lady, contact senator's office, write to ombudsman's office. best bet is to get FOIPA results from FBI and contact first lady and senator's office with letter from FBI.

I am not able to hold my breath, will update post again. or will send pm to you.
