Hi Guys,

Just checked the AVM. I-485 approved for my wife and me.
EAC-01-014-XXXXX
PD: 10/15/1999
RD: 09/22/2000
ND: 10/19/2000
AD: 08/29/2001
AVM updated.
I-140 approved for CP but I had opted for AOS

Total process took less than 2 years.

This site has been great for getting information and venting frustrations.

Thanks. I had opted for AOS in my I140 application but it was approved for CP. I did not inform INS or NVC.
 
congratulations!!!

You have won the battle. Did you checked at NVC for your I140 file status? Whether it was transfered to India? Pleas post the details on it.

I dont know when exactly my file was assigned but I came to know that it was assigned when I called on Aug 21. I checked AVM at 5:00 pm today.
Hope you get yours soon!
