X-Ray and Immunization Waivers

Folks,

Can you guys confirm if there are exceptions to medical screening for pregnant women ?? X-rays and certain shots are generally not recommended for pregnant women and I would assume that the medical screeners are considerate enough.

Please share your experience.

What i would suggest is that carry a letter from your primary care physician that your wife is pregnant and specified vaccines and x-ray be waived.

I know someone who carried such a letter to breach candy hospital in bbay and the doctor waived that part of the immigrant medical exam. So my understanding is that the doctors on the immigrant medical check up panel are aware of the waivers but just a proof / reason for such a waiver.
