WTC attack backlash on anybody who looks middle eastern!

saw a strange story in a newspaper in India that a turbanned Sikh
person was assaulted with garbage and stones in NJ.
Anybody can corroborate this?

Just heard that an indian (possibly a sikh) was attacked at Englishtown,NJ. What the fuck?? Do we look like these perperators??

Any Subcontinenet person who saw NECN (New England Cable News) evening news on 12th could figure out that the person arrested (as shown in that TV) is a Sikh... Seems he is arrested as he is having his ceremonial kripan with him while aboard AMTRAK in Providence RI. (in www.necn.com - look under more stories for "Providence Police Take Man into Custody" story and watch the person detained).

Hope that person is realesed and happy gone home by now... and Yes I think we (Desis) could esily be mis-identified as middle easterners...
