Hi Guys,

I dont know if any of you have been through this. Yesterday i recieved my AP and EAD card based on marriage to a USC. I was shocked when i saw that the AP had all my information but my wife's picture (USC) . Anyone has had this experience.. please share and suggest what i should do next. I am really worried since in the AOS package there is only one picture of the USC that is required and if they have missed the picture I- 130 petition may get delayed.

Thanks

That is really weird because my AP had the picture that they had taken of me when I went for the biometrics. I would say that you should definitely get in touch with the USCIS both by phone and possibly by mail and see what they have to say. I also think that you can send in a new application without the fees, but with the original AP asking them to fix it since it is their mistake, especially if you want to travel outside the country soon. Good luck!

Really? My AP had the pic i sent along with the forms. Only the EAD and GC had the pic taken during the FP/Bio appt.

Yep. My AP picture was the biometric one, but the EAD picture was the one I had sent in. Haven't seen the GC yet :).

whoa.. it is working backwards for you... :D just kidding.

:D As long as they don't have my wife's picture on the GC, and I indeed get it sometime this year, I can live with that :D.

I had called the NSC and they said i have to re-submit the application along with the original approval notice i recieved, all supporting documents and a waiver for the filing fee. I guess i have to send this form again to the lockbox. But not sure.
Gurus.. any suggestions.

Yeah, you will need to re-send all these forms to the Service Center that issued your original AP, which in this case would be the NBC. Let us know how long it takes for you to get a new one issued. I hope it is pretty quick. I had a similar problem with my EAD, where they spelt my last name wrong, in spite of me calling them 2 or 3 times to fix this since I noticed that it was spelt wrong on the receipt notice. But apparently they either never fixed it or the EAD was issued before it could be fixed. But I didn't bother to send it back to be fixed since I had to send back the original EAD also. Besides, I had started a new job and the employer didn't seem to care a whole lot about the spelling mistake since it had my picture. But in your case, I would think you need the right picture for sure :). Good luck my friend!
