wrong photo on EAD?

Hi,

After a long wait (6months) me and my wife got our EADs from CSC. Unfortunately they got my wife's photo and signature messed up. They have someone else's photo and sign instead. However, all other details are right.

On my lawyer's request I went to our local SFO INS office. However, the officer was not compliant. He said the documents are not here in local SFO and they cant re-issue another card w/o transferring the docs here. OR else I have to reapply at Laguna Niguel.

Did any of you face a similar situation? My lawyer is planning to reapply EAD again. I am concerned about our I-485. Do you think this will cause any problem with Green Card processing.

Goof up with EAD

Hi,

My EAD and AP applications were lost and we had to re-apply again. However, this did not impact the 485 application.

My EAD however never came even after applying again. AVM claims it approved but didn't receive the card.

485 got approved and plastic card rcvd.

I am in the same boat

I had my EAD with wrong birthdate. I called INS and he sent me
a letter about how to correct the error.

In the letter he said something :
1. mail back EAD card and document which you got in the same letter.
2.circle the error on the card.
3. provide the evidence that the information in the EAD card is wrong .
....

I sent back my EAD last month. Actually we don't have to reapply unless you sent wrong photo and signature in the I765 to the INS
office.

Now I am waiting for their response.
