Wrong online message for my EAD

Hi All,

I submitted my EAD application last week with Receive Date: 01/08/2007 and Notice Date: 01/09/2007 and today (01/13/2007) I received receipt notice. Then I checked the case online with the case number, but the online message is an approval notice other than " We have received your application, I-765...It will take xxx days..."

The approval notice is as follows:
On January 11, 2007, we sent you the notice that we have approved your I-765, application for Employment Authorization Document...

Obviously, I know CIS entered a wrong online message. Is there anything I should worry about? The receipt notice is correct, just the wrong online message.

Please share your experience.

Just call them we never know it may be approved--we never know we are dealing with USCIS
 
Thanks for your response. I really do not think they can approve EAD in two days. I checked the envelop of receipt notice with the date stamp on January 11 and I received on Jan.13. So on Jan.11, they mailed me receipt notice other than the approval notice. I guess they hit a wrong botton when they upload the informatin to their system. I have never seen such mistake reported on this forum. I'll check my mailbox these days to see what will happen.
 
Got Approval Notice, but NO EAD card. Inputs please

I applied for EAD last week and got receipt notice (01/13) and approval noice (01/16), but have not got EAD card yet. I feel very, very weird, TOO fast to believe.

Here is my EAD details below,
Receipt Date: 01/09/2007
Notice Date: 01/11/2007
Receipt Notice received: 01/13/2007
Approval Notice received: 01/16/2007, NOT EAD card

Online message: On January 11, we have mailed a notice that we have approved your I-765...

So January 11 is the Notice Date, also the Approval Date. Is it possible?

On the approval notice, it indicates that as follows,
Notice Type: Approval Notice
Class: C09
Valid from 01/11/2007 to 01/10/2008

Your application for employment authorization has been approved. The Form I-688B, EAD, was sent under separate cover to the beneficiary.

Will CIS send me EAD card soon? Last time, we just received receipt notice and then the card without approval notice.

Hey what service center is this and what is your application type i.e employment based or some thing else?
 
Hi xyr888,

If they'd approved your I-765, you should receive your EAD within a week or 10 days. Otherwise call them and find out.

It is in California Service Center and EB3.

Last time, they mailed me EAD directly without Approval Notice letter.

Have you received your approval notice first, then the EAD card or just EAD card without approval notice?
