Hello,
I appeared for naturalization interview, yesterday. I got following letter.
1. You passed the test of English and U.S. history and government.
B. A decision cannot yet be made adout your application..

so, just to make sure,I checked my application form(N-400), yesteday again.. and i found that
I mentioned the wrong date of becoming permanent resident. It was typing error & not major difference..i.e. instead of 10/09/1998 I wrote 10/07/1998..

was this may be the reason INS officer not decided the case?..

however INS officer didn't ask anything @ date problem, or like that.

Shoud I inform now to INS?, Can INS deny the application only because of this typing error?
I never had any intension for lying..

Also how do you know that INS has not decided about your case because of security check?

Attorney help appreciated..
Please, give some reply..

Thank You for your detailed reply.

I had this interview at Kansas City, MO Local office. Now I am moving to NJ, where my local office will Newark, NJ. So, if I change my address with BCIS, would it afftect my chances of naturalization?

Do I have to go only for Oath, once the application is clear, or should i have to go for interview again?

Does it add more time to transfer a file?

Thank You,
