My totally (in)competent lawyer has once again filed papers with wrong information. My birthday was incorrectly filed on the Visa renewal application for H1B. Now I have received the approval notice only to notice that its pretty useless since the date is wrong.
Is the only option to file for an amendment? Or can some other form of documentation (like birth certificate) along with the approval notice suffice? I was planning for a trip abroad on the Visa. Will there be any problems if I do this without getting the approved amendment first? Everything else is in order except for the birth date.
