Wrong A# on FP

I did my FP on April 3rd 2003. After doing my FP I realized that the A# on the FP notice was not the same as the A# on the 485 Receipt.. (one digit was different).

I called BCIS and they say they haven't received my FP, though it has already been sent by FBI.

I think they will not be able to attach my fingerprints to my case because of the wrong A#.

Can somebody please advise me what to do ?

Try going back to the ASC where you did your FP and see if the supervisor over there can help you out.
 
Did you try both your correct A# and you wrong A#? I guess you should be able find the record by the A# in you FP notice.
 
Call them and fax them to correct information. Otherwise they may assume you did not do FP and consider application abandoned.

The IIO said that they would not be able to attach my FP with the incorrect A# to my case, as the system automatically rejects such FPs. Stupid system...

Though, I should try going to the ASC and ask for some help. Thanks for this great idea !
