Writing to Senator/Congressman - Is it really effective ?

Does it really wake up INS if you write to your senator/congressman
after waiting 1.5 yrs on 485 ?
Anyone have any info ?

It does, only if ur case is past normal processing time.

It did not in my case for I140. It took 8 months for I140 while all other centers were taking on an average of 3 months
