Would you mail EAD application normal or certified? For the DV lottery for example they don't accept certified (but this is probably completely different anyhow).

Also, my RD is 01/28/02 so should I just wait for approval, because the EAD would take several months anyhow? I am still covered by my H1B but was thinking of starting a little job at the side or maybe even a small business. I was just going by the latest processing update form VSC and apparently EAD will take a month or two while I485 approval is likely to happen in Feb 2002.

Any comments appreciated!!

Go with FEDEX...

...it's reliable and you can track the package.

This is not like the DV lottery.

Well,

I sent my EAD renewal on Sep 24 via regular mail (60 Cents), and on Sep 26 INS received it. ND was issued on Oct 3 and arrived on Oct 10.
