Would having worked off-campus on F-1 be a problem to get H-1?

I was doing my undergraduate studies at the US university and I had a tough times with finances to pay for tuition so I worked off-campus as an appointment setter for almost a year. I got paid by check and paid my taxes. I know as a student on F-1 I am not allowed to work 40 hrs/week off-campus, so what I did was illegal. But I finished my 4 years of school then continued pursuing my masters degree. But i will be finishing up my MS studies in a year and would be applying for jobs. But I'm a bit worried wether my past work experience, which was against F-1 rules, would cause a problem in obtaining an H-1? If it will, then I will just focus on getting a job outside the U.S. after completing my degree. I will appreciate all your thoughts. Thank you in advance,
