Worst case affect on GC bcoz of job chg under AC21

I am planning on changing jobs under AC21 clause. My new job responsibilties and payscale will be totally different from the current one. My question is what is the worst case scenario that can happen to my GC in case in the final interview they notice this big gap in job profiles between the 2 jobs.

Worst scenario is denial. Your statement has your answer.
 
As long as your company gives you a letter stating that the original job offer is still valid, you are fine.
