I did my finger prints on AUG 13th.When I call FBI today ,they can\'t find my finger prints and told me to contact the local INS. Local INS people are telling that my FP is ok and they sent it to FBI on AUG 13 th. I am really confused !! . Is something wrong here ??
 
speak to FBI again

when u call them tell them the date your FP was sent to them. Keep your A number with you, if they cannot find you, request them to search by your last name or first name or both or request them to search on your SSN, if INS has sent it to them, they should be able to find you in their system one way or the other.

I again called FBI. They said they don\'t my FP. I planning to visit the INS FP a week after .
 
too early

It took 26 days for my FP(ink one) to get to FBI and I was told this was not unusual. Give it more time!

Thanks for the note. Mine is electronic.My wife\'s FP got cleared by FBI same day.
