I have applied to green card in EB1-B category in Dec 2003 with Texas service center. My I-140 is approved and I-485 is pending. My green card is being processed by my company where I work full time. I have already received EAD. My question is can I work extra in another company as a independent contractor in addition to my full-time work with the current company ? Does it have any effect on I-485 processing ?
Also, My current company is reducing the salary by a cetrain percent (which motivated me to take up an extra contract work). Does it matter ?
