Working with EAD

Can anybody tell me, if I start working in a new place with EAD and can I continue working if my current EAD expires and new EAD approval is not yet come?

I'm afraid you cannot. That is one reason you have to apply EAD at least 4 months in advance.

As per my knowledge you can't work with expired EAD. I am also working on EAD and applied for 3rd EAD. 2nd one going to expire in May 2004.

If you want your EAD fast, you can e-file your EAD and it may be quicker. I have e-filed my EAD on Dec 21, 2003 and my FP and photo have already been taken prior to the appointment date. I don't know when the approval is going to come.
