Working part time on H1 can i file for greencard

Hi
Just neede a little advice ,I\'m on H1 since last april and worked full time but due to recent economy slowdown i am now working part time for the same company,I spoke to my company regarding filing my Greencard,they are willing to do so but i have to bear the expenses,so needed to know it is allright for me to go ahead and file Greencard while working part time,is it in anyways going to delay my Greencard processing?

I agree, it can be done, but . . .

INS may seriously question whether there is really a full time permanent position immediately available and whether the employer has the ability to pay the offered wage. It seems that if a full time position really was available, the person would be working full time.

It certainly won\'t be easy
