Does anybody know what happens with your greencard if you go work overseas for an American company? Are you still considered as being "out of the country" for tax, immigration purposes?
Well, my concern is not much tax. For immigration purposes you are not supposed to be out of the country for more than 6 months otherwise you may lose your GC. So, if I worked overseas would it mean that I would have to travel back to the US before the 6 month period?

You pay taxes only in the country you work, make sure you have proper travel document (AP,Visa) to renter when done
