I have a special situation. I filed for I-485 in Nov 2000 and I got my EAD and parole soon after that. I used my Parole to enter back to US
in February 2001.
My company merged with another company in April 2001 and they filed for H1-B amendment after that. (I had the H1 valid until 2003 from my original company). My questions are
1) Are there any problems in doing an H1 B amendment at this stage.
2) Does it impact the green card application
3) Is there any problems in withdrawing the H1B amendment appln.
4) What are the pros and cons of using EAD versus H1B
