Working for US company in Canada

If my I485 is pending, can I use AC21 to work for a US company's subsidiary in Canada and still keep my GC process? (Assuming all other requirements such as 180 days, similar job, etc. are met)

If the company is paying you on a W2, then I guess you are fine.
Before u join make sure what the tax basis is.
