Working for UN while I-485 pending

What is the implication of working for UN outside of US while I-485 is pending?

I understand that, for the purpose of naturalization, the requirement for a five years continuous physical presence in US would be waived and the continuity of residence is maintained for an alien (with GC) who works outside of US for international organization such as UN.

Living without GC is sucks !! .

Relax. You will get your GC in the near future with the cap removal.

I worked for a UN agency for more than 4 years, while my I485 was pending. You can travel outside the country, you can work in another coutry except your homecountry. As long as you spent I blieve 2 or 2.5 years in the US, you will be eligible for citizenship.
