working for sponsoring employer

My GC was filed not by my current (H1b) employer but future employer.
Once I get my 485 approval stamping on my ppt, should I have to work for my future employer for atleast 6 months to show my genuine "intent"?

If I dont work for future employer (GC sponsorer) then INS will query at the time of my GC renewal or citizenship.

One way to escape from working for future company is have a letter from this employer stating that they are unable to offer me a job at this moment, which I'm sure they will not do.

I'm thinking of other possibility. Which is, I'll work for this company for one month for the salary lesser than what is mentioned on I-140 application (the salary specified on 140 is not affordable by this company) and SAVE the paystub to prove that I had to resign coz of lesser pay.

Will that work?
I really dont' want to work for this company as my current and future employer are sister-companies. And I'm not treated that good.

The AC-21 guidelines are not clear, but I think you should work for future employer who filed your 485 for at least 6 months (1 year is best) because you have "intent" to work with your future employer at the time of your gc approval per most lawyers' advices, and at the citizenship stage, questions will be raised if you don't work for future employer who filed your gc application. but I am not sure because AC-21 guidelines are not very clear.

But talk to your lawyer because I am not a lawyer. Or wait for answers from other people in this forum.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for your responses.

I don't mind working for future employer. But my future employer at the same time should match the salary figure based on GC application. Does it mean I have to work for "intent" though i'm not happy?

regarding INS questioning at the time of citizenship, first of all they dont have corrective system to hold finge-prints for more than a year?

Secondly they are not even doing their job with illegal immigrants let alone legal ppl. I mean who much role this "intent" plays role after 5-10 yrs?

Can I say that the salary didn't match the I-140, so I had to quit after working for 1 month?

Thank you again.
